Safety Coordinator

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client, for the position of Safety Coordinator in Singapore.

Our client requires three Safety Coordinators to support workplace safety activities inside a new building, primarily in a sheltered working environment. Candidates must hold an Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B), possess a BCA Skilled Certificate, and be able to communicate effectively in English.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct workplace safety inspections within the assigned building areas.
   

2. Identify hazards and support the implementation of appropriate risk control measures.
   

3. Monitor compliance with workplace safety and health procedures.
   

4. Inspect work activities, equipment, access routes, and housekeeping conditions.
   

5. Coordinate safety briefings and communicate safety requirements to workers and supervisors.
   

6. Report unsafe conditions, near misses, and incidents to the appropriate site personnel.
   

7. Maintain safety inspection records, checklists, and corrective action reports.
   

8. Support safe operations during night shifts and monitor corrective actions.
   

Required Skills

• Mandatory certification specified by the client

Preferred Skills

• Experience in building construction or site safety coordination.
  

• Familiarity with safety documentation, incident reporting, and inspection checklists.
  

• Experience supporting 12-hour shift-based site operations.
  

Work Experience Requirements

For sourcing purposes, a typical screening range is 2–5 years of relevant workplace safety or construction-site experience. This is a suggested sourcing range, not a confirmed client requirement.

Experience in construction safety, building projects, or sheltered work environments would be beneficial.

Education

• Minimum: Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) and BCA Skilled Certificate — mandatory.
  

• Typical academic background: Diploma in Workplace Safety, Engineering, Construction, or a related field; not specified as mandatory.
  

• Preferred: Additional recognized safety training relevant to Singapore construction operations.
  

• Additional: Validity and applicability of both mandatory certificates should be verified during screening.
