About the Role

Next Maritime is looking for an experienced HR Lead to establish, lead, and continuously develop our Human Resources function. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys building HR processes from the ground up while driving the full employee lifecycle and partnering closely with business leaders.
As part of a growing organization, you will lead all HR operations, ensure compliance with Egyptian labor regulations, foster a positive workplace culture, and support business growth through effective people strategies. You will also oversee day-to-day office operations to maintain an organized and efficient work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the full recruitment cycle, from workforce planning and sourcing to onboarding.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and internal processes.
• Manage all personnel functions, including employee records, contracts, social insurance, labor office compliance, attendance, leave management, resignations, and terminations.
• Oversee payroll preparation and monthly payroll processing.
• Drive employee relations, performance management, engagement, and retention initiatives.
• Partner with leadership on organizational development, workforce planning, and talent management.
• Ensure full compliance with Egyptian Labor Law and company policies.
• Build and strengthen the HR function to support business growth.
• Support daily office operations, including office supplies, vendor coordination, and administrative activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Previous experience as an HR Lead, Senior HR Generalist, HR Supervisor, or HR Business Partner.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to guide HR initiatives and collaborate with management.
• Strong hands-on experience in Recruitment, Personnel, Payroll, and Employee Relations.
• Experience building or improving HR processes, policies, and systems.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian Labor Law, Social Insurance, and personnel administration.
• Experience in the Shipping, Maritime, Logistics, or Freight Forwarding industry is highly preferred.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) is required.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be based in Alexandria.
