Inventory Controller

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Controller to manage stock records, monitor inventory levels, and ensure accurate tracking of goods entering and leaving the warehouse. The successful candidate will work closely with warehouse, purchasing, and logistics teams to maintain stock accuracy, prevent shortages, identify discrepancies, and support efficient inventory operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for all stock items.
  
• Record incoming and outgoing goods in the inventory management system.
  
• Verify received quantities against purchase orders, delivery notes, and related documents.
  
• Track stock movements, transfers, returns, damaged goods, and expired items where applicable.
  
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and cycle counts.
  
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
  
• Monitor stock levels and notify management of low stock, excess inventory, or potential shortages.
  
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure items are properly labelled, stored, and recorded.
  
• Prepare inventory reports covering stock balances, movements, discrepancies, and adjustments.
  
• Support stock audits and ensure inventory documentation is complete and accurate.
  
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams regarding replenishment and delivery schedules.
  
• Follow company procedures for inventory control, storage, and stock handling.
  
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and reduce stock losses.
  
• Perform other inventory-related duties assigned by management.
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Accounting, or Business Administration is an advantage.
  
• Previous experience in inventory control, stock management, warehousing, or a related role is preferred.
  
• Understanding of inventory procedures, stock reconciliation, and warehouse operations.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications.
  
• Experience with inventory management systems, ERP software, or warehouse management systems (WMS) is an advantage.
  
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
  
• Ability to investigate stock discrepancies and maintain reliable inventory records.
  
• Good communication and coordination skills.
  
• Ability to organize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
  
• Knowledge of stock rotation methods such as FIFO or FEFO is an advantage where applicable.
  
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Dubai, UAE.
