Requirements

• 
  

• Strong experience in Data Modelling and Data Architecture. A Data Architect with hands-on modelling expertise is considered ideal.
  
• Expertise in data modelling methodologies:
  

o Dimensional Modelling o Data Vault o 3NF (Third Normal Form)

• Proficiency with enterprise modelling tools:
  

o ER/Studio o Erwin Data Modeler

• Experience in:
  

o Logical and Physical Data Model Design o Metadata Management o Data Lineage o Model Governance

• Cloud data modelling and optimization experience, specifically:
  

o Google BigQuery o Physical model implementation and performance optimization in cloud environments

• Strong understanding of:
  

o Enterprise data architecture o Application and integration design , Analytical and operational data systems

Must Have:

• Collibra Certifications (e.g., Ranger, Data Steward, Governance) and GCP Professional Data Engineer.
  
• Data modeling tools (e.g., erwin, ER/Studio, SqlDBM, Hackolade).
  
• Experience with data quality/observability tooling (including Collibra DQ/Observability or equivalents) and Data Catalog/MDE integrations.
  
• Python/dbt for transformations; CI/CD for data (Git, Terraform for infra is a plus).
  
• Domain experience in Travel, Transportation & Hospitality (TTH) is advantageous.
  

Responsibility:

1. Develop and maintain the Enterprise Data Model for Australia Post..
   
2. Work closely with Business SMEs to:
   

• Understand business processes
  
• Design enterprise data models
  
• Support application and integration design rather than purely data warehousing initiatives.
  

1. Design and build:
   

• Conceptual Data Models
  
• Logical Data Models
  
• Physical Data Models aligned to business and enterprise data strategies
  

1. Lead data modelling workshops and solution design discussions with business and technical stakeholders.
   
2. Collaborate with Business Analysts and Data Architects to gather, analyse, and refine data requirements
   
3. Define and maintain:
   

• Data entities
  
• Relationships
  
• Attributes
  
• Business-aligned data structures
  

1. Map source systems to enterprise data models and maintain comprehensive documentation
   
2. Design and optimize data models for:
   

• Scalability
  
• Performance
  
• Data Quality
  
• Operational and Analytical Platforms
  

Duration: 12 Months and possible extension
