General Labour / Warehouse Associate – Temporary On-Call

Location: Burlington, ON – Guelph Line & North Service Road area
Pay Rate: $17.60/hour
Pay Schedule: Weekly – every Friday
Employment Type: Temporary / On-Call
Typical Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00/4:30 PM, and possibly weekend shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Hours: Shifts may occasionally extend into the evening depending on operational requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading merchandise
  
• Order picking and preparing orders
  
• Shipping and receiving
  
• Material handling
  
• Moving and organizing merchandise within the warehouse
  
• General warehouse duties
  
• Repetitive heavy lifting
  
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  
• Other warehouse duties as assigned
  

Candidate Requirements

• Must be physically strong and capable of repetitive heavy lifting
  
• Must have CSA-approved safety boots with the green triangle
  
• Reliable, punctual and dependable
  
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  
• Able to follow instructions and workplace safety procedures
  
• Must be able to reliably commute to the Guelph Line & North Service Road area in Burlington
  
• Must be available for an 8:00 AM start
  
• Flexible availability is preferred, as this is an on-call requirement
  
• Previous general labour, warehouse, loading/unloading, order picking, shipping/receiving or material-handling experience is an asset
