Sr. QA/QC Engineer – MEP

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Sr. QA/QC Engineer – MEP in Dubai, UAE. Key Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC activities for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works across construction projects.
  
• Inspect MEP installations and verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and applicable standards.
  
• Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), material submittals, method statements, and related quality documentation.
  
• Coordinate inspections with project engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
  
• Identify non-conforming work, issue or follow up NCRs, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
  
• Monitor MEP testing and commissioning activities and maintain the required inspection and quality records.
  
• Conduct site quality audits and ensure MEP works meet project quality requirements before handover.
  
• Prepare QA/QC reports, inspection records, snag lists, and supporting documentation for project closeout.
  

Required Skills

1. MEP QA/QC: Strong understanding of quality control procedures covering mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works.
   
2. MEP Inspection: Ability to inspect installations against approved drawings and project specifications.
   
3. Quality Documentation: Knowledge of ITPs, method statements, MIRs/WIRs, inspection records, and QA/QC reports.
   
4. NCR Management: Ability to identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
   
5. Testing & Commissioning: Understanding of MEP testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover processes.
   

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with UAE/GCC construction quality requirements.
  
• Experience coordinating with consultants and MEP subcontractors.
  
• Strong technical documentation and reporting capabilities.
  

Work Experience Requirements

The client has not specified an experience range. Typical for a Senior QA/QC Engineer – MEP role: approximately 7–10+ years of relevant MEP/construction QA/QC experience, preferably involving large-scale building projects. UAE/GCC project exposure is typically advantageous.

Education

Minimum: Typical — Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline
Preferred: Relevant QA/QC or MEP professional certification
Additional: Project/quality-related certifications are advantageous
