📌Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive Project Manager to oversee the operations, maintenance, and support of an API Gateway platform in a cloud environment. The role involves coordinating technical teams and external vendors, managing incidents and maintenance activities, ensuring security and compliance, and driving reliable service delivery.

🛠️Key Responsibilities

🔹 Project & Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day operations and support activities for the API Gateway platform.

• Coordinate incident resolution, maintenance schedules, upgrades, and service improvements.

• Track operational issues, risks, dependencies, and deliverables through to closure.

• Ensure activities are completed within agreed timelines and service-level agreements (SLAs).

🔹 Vendor & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate external vendors and internal technical teams.

• Monitor vendor performance, deliverables, and SLA compliance.

• Follow up on outstanding issues and escalate unresolved risks when necessary.

• Communicate project progress, incidents, and operational risks to stakeholders.

🔹 Technical Coordination

• Coordinate troubleshooting of API connectivity, authentication, performance, and integration issues.

• Work with application, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud teams to resolve technical problems.

• Review technical recommendations, implementation plans, and rollback procedures.

• Support API onboarding, configuration changes, and integration testing.

🔹 Security & Change Management

• Coordinate security patching, vulnerability remediation, audits, and access reviews.

• Manage change approvals, implementation schedules, and post-implementation checks.

• Support disaster recovery exercises and maintain operational documentation.

• Ensure adherence to applicable IT security policies and governance requirements.

📋Required Skills & Experience

• 4–8 years of relevant experience in IT project coordination, IT operations, or enterprise application support.

• Experience in vendor management, incident management, and maintenance coordination.

• Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP/HTTPS, JSON, SSL/TLS, and authentication mechanisms.

• Familiarity with networking concepts, including DNS, firewalls, proxies, and load balancers.

• Understanding of cloud-hosted applications and IT service management processes.

• Strong stakeholder communication, problem-solving, and risk management skills.

⭐Preferred Skills

• Experience with API Gateways, middleware, or enterprise integration platforms.

• Exposure to cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and system maintenance.

• Experience in public sector or government ICT environments.

• Relevant certifications in project management, IT service management, cloud computing, or cybersecurity.
