Position Overview

We are working with a growing healthcare organization seeking a Physical Therapist to join its outpatient orthopedic team in the Washington, DC metro area.

Requirements

What You'll Do

Evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions
Develop and modify individualized plans of care based on patient goals and clinical findings
Utilize evidence-based treatment techniques to improve mobility, function, and strength
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, recovery expectations, and home exercise programs
Collaborate with clinical leadership and other clinicians to maximize patient outcomes
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
Build strong relationships with patients throughout their course of treatment
Participate in clinical mentorship, team meetings, and professional development

Qualifications

Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Current PT license or ability to obtain appropriate state licensure
CPR/BLS certification
Strong communication and time-management skills
Patient-focused approach to care
Commitment to clinical excellence and continued professional development

Clinical Expectations

Clinicians are expected to:

Average approximately 10 patient visits per clinical day
Maintain high levels of patient satisfaction
Complete clinical documentation within 24 hours
Maintain strong clinical quality and compliance standards
Help patients successfully complete their prescribed plans of care
