Behind every car, power plant, and chemical product are procurement teams deciding what to buy, who to trust, and where to invest. Their decisions shape entire businesses. Too much of their time still goes into piecing together spreadsheets, contracts, and supplier information.

Delvo is building the AI intelligence layer for strategic procurement. We help enterprise customers across energy, automotive, and chemicals understand their spend, prepare negotiations, and make better decisions.

About the Role

As a Product Engineer, you turn customer problems into products people rely on. You’ll own the full journey: talk to users, decide what’s worth building, design the solution, and ship it across the stack.

That could mean turning a pile of contracts into actionable insights or helping a buyer walk into a negotiation with everything they need. You’ll work at the intersection of AI, complex data, and thoughtful interfaces, making powerful technology feel simple.

You’ll work directly with the founders, influence product direction, and see customers use what you build. We’re hiring at mid, senior, and staff level, with scope matched to your experience and room to grow.

What you’ll own

• Build products that change how procurement works. Turn complex spend data, supplier intelligence, and contracts into tools that help customers see opportunities and act on them.

• Shape what we build next. Get close to customers, uncover what’s holding them back, and turn your insights into the next thing they’ll love.

• Take ideas all the way to impact. Own the full stack, from data models and AI behaviour to the final interaction. Ship, learn from real usage, and keep making the experience faster, sharper, and more dependable.

• Build interfaces that get work done. Go beyond displaying information: create experiences where users set a goal and AI agents carry out the work, with clear progress, thoughtful approvals, and results they can trust.

Our stack includes TypeScript, React/Next.js, Postgres/Supabase, Vercel, and Python. We stay at the forefront of AI-powered engineering, and you’ll help keep us there, experimenting with new tools and building better internal workflows so the whole team gets faster every day.

What we're looking for

• You’ve personally shipped software for real users and can explain what you learned after launch.

• You have strong engineering foundations and can work across frontend, backend, and databases.

• You have product judgement and care about the details that make software clear, fast, and enjoyable.

• You use AI tools with curiosity and ambition, backed by the technical judgement to review and verify what they produce.

• You take initiative, communicate clearly, and enjoy figuring things out with customers and teammates.

You don’t need procurement experience or every tool in our stack. If this sounds like your kind of work, we’d love to hear from you, even if you don’t check every box.

1. Intro call , with Martin Bender, Founder’s Associate.

2. Technical deep dive , with a Founding Engineer or our CTO , discuss what you’ve built and the decisions behind it.

3. On-site , at our Berlin office , meet the founders Erik, Darius & Jonas and the entire team, and work through a practical problem together. AI coding tools welcome.

4. Reference check , with your agreement, we’ll ask for two references from your most recent roles.
