Dental Hygienist / Assistant

Om Samaj Dental Hospital, Naikap Branch, is seeking a skilled, caring, and dedicated Dental Hygienist or  Dental Assistant to join its dental surgery department. The ideal candidate should have relevant clinical experience, a good understanding of dental procedures, and the ability to assist dentists during surgical treatments while maintaining proper hygiene, sterilization, and patient care standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentists and oral surgeons during dental surgeries and clinical procedures.
• Prepare and organize dental instruments, equipment, and materials before procedures.
• Maintain proper sterilization, infection control, and clinical hygiene standards.
• Support patient preparation and provide assistance before, during, and after procedures.
• Handle and maintain dental instruments and equipment appropriately.
• Ensure the surgery room is clean, organized, and ready for patient care.
• Monitor and maintain adequate supplies of dental materials and consumables.
• Provide patients with basic post-procedure care instructions as directed by the dentist.
• Maintain patient records and follow hospital protocols and professional standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Dental Hygiene or Dental Assisting.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a dental clinic or hospital.
• Experience or familiarity with dental surgery procedures is preferred.
• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization, and infection prevention practices.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and patient-handling skills.
• Responsible, attentive to detail, and committed to maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a dental healthcare team.
