Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Trade Finance Operations & Data Processing Specialist to manage trade finance transactions, document verification, data extraction and enrichment using trade finance applications and AI-enabled processing platforms.

The role requires strong knowledge of funded and unfunded trade products, excellent attention to detail and the ability to ensure accurate, timely processing in accordance with banking regulations and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and verify trade finance transactions, including Letters of Credit (LCs), Bank Guarantees, Documentary Collections and other funded and unfunded trade products.
  
• Extract, classify, validate and enrich trade transaction data using trade finance systems and AI-enabled document processing platforms.
  
• Initiate, process and validate transactions using Ti Plus or equivalent trade finance applications.
  
• Ensure data accuracy, transaction quality and timely processing in accordance with established SLAs.
  
• Review transactional documents, identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with internal banking procedures.
  
• Adhere to AML, KYC, Central Bank regulations and applicable international trade finance standards.
  
• Maintain accurate transaction records, operational reports and processing statistics.
  
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to support system enhancements, automation and AI-based document extraction.
  
• Identify operational risks and recommend improvements to transaction controls and processing efficiency.
  
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve processing discrepancies and operational issues.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  
• Relevant experience in banking operations, preferably in Trade Finance Operations.
  
• Hands-on knowledge of import/export LCs, Bank Guarantees, Documentary Collections and trade documentation.
  
• Experience with Ti Plus, Pelican/TDA or similar trade finance and document processing platforms is highly desirable.
  
• Exposure to AI-enabled data extraction, document validation, Appian or UAT is an advantage.
  
• Good understanding of UCP 600, AML, KYC and regulatory compliance.
  
• Strong analytical, data validation and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to process high-volume transactions accurately.
  
• Previous experience in UAE or GCC banking operations is preferred.
