Task Talent Recruitment Ltd (Company No. 15839695) is a UK recruitment agency working across permanent, contract and temporary roles in a range of sectors. We are expanding our client outreach function and are bringing on additional freelance appointment setters and BDRs to help us identify and engage new companies across the UK.

The Role

This is a remote, self‑employed, commission‑only position. It suits someone with experience in telesales, appointment setting or business development who wants full flexibility and the ability to earn without limits. You will be researching potential client companies, reaching out by phone, email or LinkedIn, and booking qualified appointments for our recruitment team. If you have recruitment sales experience and prefer to manage the full cycle yourself, you can progress to our Set and Close track, where you handle the client relationship through to a completed placement at a higher commission rate.

What You Will Be Doing

• Researching and identifying suitable UK companies using approved data sources • Contacting decision‑makers by phone, email and LinkedIn • Qualifying opportunities and booking appointments for our team • Set and Close track: managing the client relationship through to a confirmed placement • Recording activity accurately in our CRM

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in telesales, appointment setting, business development or B2B sales • Recruitment sector experience is a strong advantage • Confident communicator with a professional phone manner and clear written communication • Self‑motivated and comfortable managing your own workload as a contractor • Based in the UK, with an understanding of CTPS and PECR or willingness to learn

• Uncapped commission with no earning ceiling • Full flexibility over your hours, methods and working style • Supportive onboarding including compliance guidance and CRM training • CTPS‑checked lead data provided, plus access to approved tools if you want to source your own • A clear contractor agreement covering commission structure, payment terms and your rights

Compensation and OTE

This is a commission‑only role. Earnings depend entirely on performance. To give a realistic picture, here are two simple examples based on our lowest fee band and one placement per month.

Appointment Setting Only (30 percent commission) One placement per month Salary used for illustration: National Living Wage full‑time salary of £26,436.80 per year Fee band: 12 percent Estimated monthly earnings: around £951

Set and Close (50 percent commission) Same example: one placement per month Same salary and fee band Estimated monthly earnings: around £1,586

These examples are realistic starting points rather than best‑case scenarios. Higher‑salary roles, multiple placements or progressing to Set and Close all increase earning potential. We can talk through real‑world upside during the interview.
