Assistant - Accounts Payable and General Ledger (Healthcare)

1. Check and enter supplier invoices, expense claims and supporting documents into the hospital’s accounting system.
2. Assist with supplier reconciliations, payment preparation and follow-up on missing approvals or documentation.
3. Support journal entries, accrual schedules, account reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
4. Maintain organized financial records and coordinate with hospital departments to resolve routine accounting queries.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
2. Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience, with relevant experience in the hospital or healthcare sector.
3. ACCA studies, an accounting technician qualification or equivalent certification preferred.
4. Good knowledge of bookkeeping, invoice processing, Excel and accounting software, with strong attention to detail.
