Job Title: ZOHO DEVELOPER (DELUGE AND API INTEGRATIONS)

Employment Type: Project-based, three (3) months, with possible extension based on project needs and performance

Work Setup: Hybrid - Clark, Pampanga

Salary: Php 70,000 - Php 90,000

Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Zoho Developer to design, develop, and maintain custom functions and API integrations across our Zoho applications.

The role focuses exclusively on server-side business logic using Zoho Deluge scripting, secure REST API integrations, and extending Zoho applications through custom functions. Initial integration work will focus on connecting Zoho with our accounting platform, with additional third-party integrations planned as the project progresses.

This role does not include application configuration, module customization, workflow creation, report development, or general Zoho administration.

All development and testing is done in a sandbox environment before deployment. Complete technical documentation and a formal handover to the Systems team are required deliverables of this project.

Key Responsibilities

● Develop, test, and maintain custom functions using Zoho Deluge scripting.

● Design, develop, and maintain secure REST API integrations between Zoho applications and third-party platforms, starting with our accounting platform.

● Configure and manage Zoho Connections for secure API authentication, and develop webhook integrations where required.

● Develop and test all work in the sandbox environment before deployment. Production deployments require review and approval by the Systems team.

● Implement proper error handling, retry logic, and failure notifications for all integrations.

● Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to Deluge scripts, custom functions, and API integrations.

● Write scripts that respect Zoho API credits, execution limits, and statement limits.

● Write clean, maintainable, and properly commented code.

● Maintain technical documentation in the company knowledge base, including a custom function inventory, API integration diagrams, connection and authentication details, and webhook specifications.

● Conduct a handover session with the Systems team and deliver complete documentation as a condition of project completion.

● Collaborate with the Systems team to understand technical requirements and translate them into working scripts.

This role does not include:

● Module customization using the Zoho interface

● Drag-and-drop configuration

● Workflow creation

● Blueprint configuration

● Layout or field customization

● Report or dashboard development

● General Zoho administration

Qualifications and Requirements

Must have:

● Proven experience developing custom functions using Zoho Deluge.

● Proven experience building and consuming REST API integrations, including OAuth authentication.

● Strong working knowledge of JSON, HTTP request and response structures, and webhooks.

● Strong understanding of data structures and record relationships, including data mapping and synchronization between systems (for example, syncing invoices and contacts between a CRM and an accounting platform without creating duplicates).

● Experience working with sandbox environments and structured deployment processes.

● Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

● Ability to manage multiple development tasks while meeting agreed project timelines.

● Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Strongly preferred:

● Experience with Zoho Creator scripting.

● Experience integrating accounting platforms (such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Zoho Books) with Zoho applications.

Nice to have:

● Experience using Postman or similar API testing tools.

● Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

● Experience integrating payment gateways, communication platforms, or other SaaS applications with Zoho.
