About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Sales Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering to drive project-based sales, technical proposal development, and client engagement in the DRC market. This is an excellent opportunity for a techno-commercial professional looking to grow their career internationally within the electrical or cable industry.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender documentation for electrical/cable projects
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to support sales growth targets
Manage client relationships throughout the project lifecycle, from initial inquiry to project delivery
Coordinate with internal engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure accurate and competitive proposals
Conduct technical presentations and product/solution walkthroughs for clients
Support contract negotiations by providing technical clarifications and commercial justifications
Monitor project progress and liaise with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and industry standards within the electrical/cable sector

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
6–10 years of experience in techno-commercial or project sales roles, preferably within the electrical or cable industry
Strong understanding of tendering processes, technical proposal writing, and commercial negotiations
Excellent client relationship management and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams
Willingness to relocate and work in Kinshasa, DRC
Prior international or African market experience is a plus
